New production process of high carbon ferromanganese
Now there are more and more methods of smelting high-carbon ferromanganese by high-carbon ferromanganese manufacturers, among which three production processes are relatively new, and the three are:
1) the use of computer control technology, can control the amount of carbon, adjust the electrode, store data, control the material batch system and feeding transportation system, so that the electric furnace type for stability, power consumption decreased (up to 12% on average), increase the operation time, prolong the life of the furnace. At present, it has been widely used in various countries.
2) Burden preheating and pre-reduction: when the closed ferromanganese electric furnace is used to produce high carbon ferromanganese, the furnace charge is preheated and pre-reduced manganese ore through a rotary kiln with a diameter of 3.5m and a length of 75m, and the iron oxide scale and lime are dried to remove crystal water. When the temperature of the furnace charge reaches 80℃, it is put into the furnace. The heat source of rotary kiln comes from closed electric furnace gas. After using this method, the production efficiency of electric furnace is greatly improved, and the power consumption is reduced to 2000kWh/t.
3) production of high carbon ferromanganese by residue method: this process is characterized by the use of slag resistance heat instead of arc heat, to expand the reaction zone in the furnace, to achieve the purpose of reducing power consumption, improving element recovery and production capacity.
