In January, automobile production and sales completed 1.594 million and 1.649 million, respectively, down 34.3% and 35% year-on-year.
2. Sales of new energy vehicles fell by 6.3% year-on-year in January
In January, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 425,000 and 408,000, down 6.9% and 6.3%, respectively. Sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 24.7% of the total sales of new vehicles.
3.Auto exports rose 30.1 percent in January from a year earlier
In January, the export of complete automobiles was 301,000 units, up 30.1% year on year. The export of new energy vehicles was 83,000, up 48.2 percent year on year.
