The other is the metal calcium produced by aluminothermic process, whose purity is generally about 97%. After further sublimation, the purity can be improved to a certain extent.
In terms of physical properties, electrolytic metallic calcium is relatively soft and easy to process, and the recovery rate is relatively high. However, the metallic calcium produced by aluminothermic process is relatively hard and the loss is relatively large in the process.
