Advantages and uses of carbon cored wire
Carbon cored wire is a cored wire used to adjust the carbon content in molten steel. Compared with other carbon collector products, metallurgical cored wires have the following advantages: purifying molten steel inclusions; improving the mechanical properties of cast steel. The biggest advantage is to improve alloy efficiency and reduce alloy consumption, thereby reducing steelmaking costs and achieving the ultimate economic benefits of each user.
The cored wire for steelmaking is made of carbon powder and steel strip. The carbon content includes carbon materials such as calcined coal, calcined petroleum coke, and graphitized petroleum coke. Also called solid steel-making cored wire or pure steel-making cored wire, sometimes referred to as the abbreviation of C core wire.
The diameter is 13mm±0.5mm, and the carbon purity is 90%, 95% to 98%. Custom specifications are also acceptable. The thickness range of the steel strip (belt) is 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6mm. The core wire machine produced by our new technology is firmly bandaged and will not spit out or leak. It is filled with uniform toner and packed in waterproof plastic packaging and steel frame. The absorption rate is greater than 90%, and the moisture content is less than 0.5%. It can significantly reduce product costs and extend durability. It is easy to operate with conventional wire feeding equipment.
