Brief introduction:
SiBaCa Cored Wire is a linear alloy made of silica-Ca-BA-alloy broken into a certain size and then wrapped by strip steel. It is mainly used in steelmaking and casting.
Features and usage:
* Silica-ba-ca alloy is a new and efficient composite alloy of Ba-series alloy, which is used as deoxidizer, desulfurizer and dephosphorization agent in steelmaking. It is an inoculant and modifier in casting.
* Barium effectively reduces the vapor pressure of calcium and increases the solubility of calcium in molten steel. Compared with si-Ca alloy, the calcium content of si-CA alloy in molten steel is about twice that of si-CA alloy, and the calcium content in molten steel is significantly increased even when the calcium content is half that of si-CA alloy. It is shown that barium effectively protects calcium in molten steel and reduces the oxidation of calcium, thus achieving the purpose of calcium treatment in molten steel.
