Brief introduction:

Silicon calcium cored wire is a composite material made of silicon calcium alloy broken into a certain size and then rolled with cold rolled low carbon steel strip. It is mainly used for steel making and casting.

When using the silicon calcium cored wire, the reaction between calcium and molten steel is violent. Attention must be paid to the actual operation of calcium work, such as feeding deep layer and feeding speed. In actual operation of wire feeding, because of the high steam pressure of calcium wire, it is necessary to feed the calcium wire deeper to avoid volatilization. One way is to increase the thickness of iron sheet to avoid the damage of too early melting to the deep calcium release layer; the other way is to increase the wire feeding speed to enhance the release depth of calcium. At a higher speed, the material can pass through the slag layer and enter the appropriate deep layer, reduce the air oxidation of calcium by coal ash, expand the digestion and absorption of calcium by molten steel, and improve the utilization rate of calcium.

*The CaSi cored wire is beneficial to adjust and control the content of easy oxygen elements and trace elements, greatly increase the alloy yield, reduce the cost of steelmaking, shorten the smelting time and precisely control the composition.

* The CaSi cored wire can clean molten steel and partly change the properties and forms of inclusions, improve the quality of molten steel and improve the casting state.

* The CaSi cored wire is divided into two types: inner drawing and outer drawing. The mechanical equipment required for wire feeding is simple and reliable.
