Brief introduction:

CaFe cored wire is composed of 25-35% calcium particles and the rest is iron powder. The core wire is made of steel strip. The general specifications of the cored wire are calcium 30 and calcium 40. Calcium iron cored wire is usually used in low carbon, ultra-low carbon, low silicon steel and pure steel with strict inclusion morphology and quantity requirements at home and abroad.

As a deoxidizer for molten steel refining, it can not only reduce nozzle clogging, but also avoid sulfide inclusions in steel after adding calcium, thus improving the anisotropy of steel. With the help of wire feeder, the molten steel can be melted and dissolved in the deep of molten steel, which can deoxidize, desulfurize and remove inclusions. Meanwhile, it can fine tune the composition, improve the yield of metal and rare earth elements and ensure the stability of the composition. Reduce the amount of precious elements, reduce the refining cost.

It is suitable for calcium treatment of molten steel in secondary refining process. Φ 13mm is suitable for medium and small EAF, and Φ 16mm is suitable for large EAF.

Features and usage:

* Long strip sulfide inclusions can be avoided by adding cored wire in the process of steelmaking, so as to improve the anisotropy of steel.

* With the help of the wire feeder, the liquid steel can be rapidly input and dissolved in the depth of the liquid steel, so as to reduce the blockage of the nozzle and play the role of deoxidation, desulfurization and inclusion removal.
