USE
(1) used as deoxidizer and alloy agent in steelmaking industry.
(2) used as inoculation agent and spheroidizing agent in the cast iron industry, adding a certain amount of ferrosilicon in the cast iron process can prevent the formation of carbide in iron and promote the precipitation and spheroidization of graphite.
(3) 75# ferrosilicon is the main raw material for the production of magnesium metal, with a ton consumption of about 1.1 tons.
